Current status of the product
- RentOda connects guests with hosts who list spare rooms. Every listing is created by a real host.
- No payment provider is connected yet. Any booking you create is a request between you and the host and no money changes hands on the platform.
- Identity, property and payout verification are not operational and are labelled “Coming soon”.
Using RentOda as a guest
- You must be 18 or older to request a stay.
- Room prices, deposits and any mandatory charges are shown before you confirm a request.
- House rules set by the host apply for the whole stay.
Using RentOda as a host
- You may only list a room you are legally allowed to rent out.
- Photos and amenities must reflect the actual room. Misleading listings can be removed.
- Earnings figures shown in the calculator are estimates, not a guarantee of income.
Cancellations
- Guests can cancel a pending request at any time before it is accepted.
- Cancellation windows and any deposit terms are shown on each listing.
Reporting and removal
- Use “Report this listing” on any room page to flag fake photos, wrong information, a suspicious host or an incorrect price.
